In May 2007 we were approached by Jeremy Millins of the Heaven brand to specify a suitably impressive sound system for his new Ibizan project. 

Like us he had gravitated to the island initially for other reasons but once there he looked at the club scene and felt there was room for a bespoke Gay club on the island in the tradition of Heaven London.

From an audio perspective we looked at the project as a cross between the Pure club in Manchester (also managed by Mr. Millins) and Heaven London which had a sister VIP club named ‘The Island'. Consequently we specified Dance Stacks in the main club area with a plethora of AX88s to provide mid high fills in the raised areas and in Island we utilised the tried and tested Res 2SH mid highs. This time however we added a twist; F215s rather than F118s. This was mainly due to the size of the space, ceiling height and available placement space. It proved a good balance in the room.
