Local entrepreneur Jason Bull ran into Blue Box boys in the Pacha Bar one night in March 2005 and hooked up a meeting to look at the sound system on the terrace at his prestigious Es Vive hotel in Figuerettes. After discussing the environmental noise problems Blue Box specified an elegant solution of Turbosound Impact 50s built into special mounts on the palm trees. "Unfortunately we could not get them in green or brown but problems with the sound spillage have largely been eliminated." Remembers Mark " We also did some work on Jason's other venue the Base Bar in the port, sprucing up his system there and making it more ergonomical"

The following summer saw the Experience Bar at Es Vive revamped by sponsors Smirnoff and re named 'The Electric Cabaret'. A semi permanent installation of Funktion One Res 1s created a phenomenal sound in the venue and that year saw Smirnoff promote 4 parties with the likes of DJ Yoda, Eclectic Method, Sean Rowley (who really made the system sing), the Cuban Brothers and various other resident DJs.

This was also the year the Pool Bar was re fitted with a dynamic Martin Audio system comprising of the AQ8s and AQ15s from their architectural range.

Says David "We worked out an intricate routing system that means they can have music from any source in any part of the terrace, the Pool Bar or The Electric Cabaret. It was essential in a hotel where the emphasis on the entertainment shifts around the clock. They now have a sound system that befits the reputation of the hotel.
