Although Yauatcha already had a serviceable sound system restaurateur Alan Yau felt it needed some upgrading with a more modern approach to the sound. 

We went through some design alternatives and settled on 4 Funktion One F101s, and 2 MB112 bass bins installed in cupboard with grills to keep them out of sight. We custom made horizontal brackets for the F101s to keep them as tight as possible to the low ceiling. Area around the main restaurant floor were fitted with B&W ceiling speakers, as was the new bar at  a later date.
